June 2012
I’m concentrating on my books for fall literature classes since those kind of kicked my ass this year. But I’m still mixing in “fun” books so I don’t get discouraged and stop my reading rampage all together.
Hold me to this guys! Don’t let me waste away the whole summer without reading barely anything like last year!!!
- The Iliad
- The Portrait of a Lady
- Stardust
- The Odyssey
- Sula
- Game of Thrones
- The Oresteia
- Emma
- Celtic Myths and Legends
- Metamorphoses
- The Last Time as We Are
- Euripides (ten plays)
- After the Reunion
- Sophocles (the complete plays)
- A Picture of Dorian Gray
Ooo- that came out to fifteen. I’ll try to get at least eight done this summer and work on the rest during the semester. No idea what order we’re reading them in, so I’m just wingin it.

I’mma live in a cave of seclusion for awhile.
I watch you reblog my posts daily. You can message me.

Disclaimer: This book is written in German, so if something sounds a little clumsy then it might be my translation. That much, at least, I would like to absolve the author of. For the rest he has no one to blame but himself.
What, what, what?? What is this??
Somebody actually went ahead and turned Anderson’s 2011 movie into a book. I basically had no choice but to buy it.
That sounds hilarious and fantastic
oh my god is this for real?!
by making that production into a book, dear author, do you have any idea what you’re doing?
you’re stripping away any and all merit of that film (great cast, breath-taking costuming) and leaving it with the shit-tastic writing.
you just made it worse.
file under: NOT HELPING

In case you haven’t noticed, I just finished Musketeers.

I use sarcasm because flat out telling you you’re a fucking moron is considered inappropriate and is frowned upon. And I was raised better than that.
